Adam Carroll is one of the hottest young talents in motor sport today. His 15-year journey towards the top has been tough but after a tremendous season in 2008, he’s hoping that this year can be even better.
He started racing karts at the age of nine but his first big break came seven years later when he won the Elf Fast track Competition - gaining a scholarship to the Elf La Filiere Motorsport Academy in Le Mans, France. Since then his career and confidence have gone from strength to strength winning many domestic series in the UK. In 2004 he battled in the coveted British F3 championship, a series which has been won by greats such as Ayrton Senna and Mika Hakkinen. It was a thrilling season with the championship going down to the last round.
In 2004 Adam was picked from 15 of the world’s top young drivers by BAR Honda F1 team, now Honda Racing F1. Several F1 tests have helped Adam have a taste of his dream and nurture his talents.
